Colouring pages

FREE COLOURING PAGES IN THE NEW DOWNLOAD SECTION! COLOURED PAGES AND MY COLOURING HOBBY.

So, I decided to add a new download section to share some fun stuff. Because I am also a fan of DIY crafts, I thought this would be a great platform to upload some of my designs for readers to print and make stuff out of!

The first downloads are a set of 3 colouring pages. As of today, two pages are already up, the third will be up tomorrow following my IG post. You can download them here. These colouring page freebies are to celebrate the launch of this website (yay!). They are also previews to my next comic. Guess what it’s going to be? LOL I admit that isn’t easy to guess given the strange and fantastic situations that are in the drawings. While they aren’t exactly part of the comic cause I was conscious about making the elements colouring friendly, the Marshmallow Star is indeed the protagonist.

Colouring was my hobby before I started on this illustration journey. It was also one of the things that inspired me to think about illustrating, especially when I viewed drawings by other artists that are meant for colouring. (I collected quite many colouring books at one time.) So, I am really excited to have made some myself. And even more so when my friend TL sent me pictures of her kids colouring them! The “OMG! Shock!” level went off the charts in my head. Can this be true?! Of course it is, why wouldn’t it be. I mean I set the motion for my drawings to be coloured. But seeing it happen still feels surprising to me. Just like how after making 15 paintings for Zombie Diaries, I sat down, thought about them and couldn’t believe that I did that. I thought to myself then, “huh? I need to be more confident about my abilities if I can do that!” While I feel silly that I overreacted, it still feels nice to be wow-ed by how my drawings affected/ benefitted/ or made something nice happen in another place to another person(s). TL, my dear friend who is half the planet away, downloaded the drawing, printed it out and had a Saturday morning colouring activity with her children. And then she took some pictures and sent them to me. :) Thank you TL!

Here is what H, TL’s son did!

And here is what TL did. She also “chin chai” coloured with H! Lol!

If you’ve made some colourings with my colouring pages, feel free to send some images to me. I’d love to see how they have been imagined and coloured!

What else will be put up on the download page?

For those who are into DIY gift packaging, I am planning to put up some DIY stickers cum tags this gift-giving season. They will probably be based on some characters and objects from my comics. So keep a lookout for them next month!

That’s all for now. Stay safe and healthy everyone!
